Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Microdermabrasion with Oxygen.

This treatment targets uneven texture, fine lines, mild acne scarring, enlarged pores, clogged or congested skin, and dullness. Exfoliation plus oxygen infusion brightens, refines, and hydrates, making it ideal for skin needing smoother tone and refreshed radiance.

Expect 45 to 60 minutes including consultation, cleansing, microdermabrasion, oxygen infusion, mask, and finishing products. Timing varies by skin condition and any add-ons; you'll often notice a healthy glow immediately after treatment.

Most clients report mild tingling or a gentle scratching sensation during exfoliation but no significant pain. Oxygen infusion is soothing and cooling. We adjust intensity for sensitivity, and redness usually fades within hours, making it comfortable for many skin types.

For corrective goals, a series of 4–6 treatments spaced two to four weeks apart is common. Results accumulate with repeat sessions; after initial series, maintenance sessions monthly or quarterly help preserve texture, tone, and hydration based on your esthetician's plan.

Avoid treatment if you have active acne cysts, cold sores, rosacea flare-ups, open wounds, recent chemical peels, or are using isotretinoin. Inform us of medications or skin conditions during consultation to determine safe alternatives or timing for treatment.

Aftercare includes gentle cleansing, daily broad-spectrum SPF, and rich moisturizers. Avoid active acids, retinoids, and vigorous exfoliation for 5–7 days. Stay out of direct sun and extreme heat for 48 hours, and follow personalized product recommendations from your esthetician.
